Job summary

Cloudmate Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Managing Director to steer the company’s strategic direction, operations and regional growth from a hands-on leadership position. This role requires building scalable governance and operational systems while driving commercial expansion across the region.

The MD will lead key accounts, manage budgets and P&L, ensure regulatory compliance, and recruit and mentor a local team, representing the company in strategic negotiations with partners and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a scaling services business with growth responsibility.
• Proven ability to set and execute strategic direction and growth plans.
• Strong governance, compliance, and risk management understanding.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Track record in building and sustaining key client relationships.
• Experience overseeing budgets, P&L, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the company's overall business strategy and growth plans
• Oversee day-to-day operations and manage operational matters across the organisation
• Establish and lead process optimisation and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency across teams
• Own key projects end-to-end, from planning through execution and delivery
• Drive development of key accounts and major clients, including relationship building and long-term account growth
• Govern relationships with platform partners, vendors, and suppliers, including commercial terms and performance
• Ensure company compliance with relevant regulatory, statutory, and governance requirements
• Manage budgets, resource planning, and full P&L accountability
• Oversee all company projects, ensuring direction aligns with business goals
• Build and manage the local team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Represent the company in key business negotiations and strategic partnerships
