Job summary
Michael Page is seeking an accomplished Finance Business Partner for a global industrial solutions leader in Singapore. Reporting to the Regional Finance Leadership team, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategy, budgeting, and performance management.
You will drive forecasting, long-range planning, investment appraisal, governance, and deliver insights, dashboards, and improved reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance or related functions.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA or MBA will be viewed favourably.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance management and business planning.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge business decisions constructively.
- Proficiency with financial modelling, Excel, Power BI, SAP and financial planning tools.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance advisor to business leaders on strategic and operational decisions.
- Partner stakeholders to improve profitability, growth, and capital allocation.
- Lead monthly business performance reviews and provide actionable financial insights.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial target setting.
- Perform detailed P&L analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support investment appraisals, business cases, scenario modelling and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure strong governance, financial discipline and adherence to company policies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through data analytics, dashboards and enhanced reporting capabilities.
