Job summary

RGE is seeking a seasoned Business Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple countries in our integrated fibre business. You will partner with regional leaders to drive profitability, performance reporting and robust controls while supporting strategic growth.

The role requires 10+ years in finance and regional exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Travel ~25% to operating sites and key locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent; CA certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and controlling with regional exposure in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record managing businesses with annual turnover USD 100 million+.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key finance partner to regional business heads, driving alignment with strategic and operational goals.
• Support decision‑making with financial models, commercial evaluations, and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Lead financial assessments for capex, investments and cost optimization initiatives.
• Drive accurate monthly reporting and variance analysis for multiple countries and units.
• Manage regional budgets and rolling forecasts; highlight risks and opportunities.
• Ensure internal controls, policies and regulatory compliance across the region.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations to monitor cost performance and logistics spend.
• Coordinate with tax, treasury and legal on cross‑border issues; support audits and statutory reporting.
