GEORGE FISCHER PTE LTD is seeking a Regional Demand Planner to manage the regional Demand Planning process, forecast customer demand from multiple sources, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning and Finance to align S&OP with customer demand. The role focuses on improving forecast accuracy and supporting cost-efficient decision making within the monthly S&OP cycle.

The candidate will act as the subject matter expert for demand planning and support projects including new business

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Drive the monthly cycle of S&OP meetings to build a Consensus Demand Plan.
  • Align with regional S&OP participants for timely preparation and attendance for regional/global meetings.
  • Drive monthly demand forecast aggregation using market trends, portfolio changes, and SAP/CRM data with Sales, Marketing and Product Management.
  • Monitor and analyze regional market trends and customer demand patterns.
  • Analyze and provide insights on regional demand constraints, risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization.
  • Participate in developing statistical models to optimize the demand plan for customer service levels.
  • Measure, control, and improve Demand Plan accuracy with defined metrics.
  • Assist in resolving key supply-demand/service-cost issues.

Regional Demand Planner

The position is responsible formanaging the regional Demand Planning process, which involves forecastingcustomer demand through combining different new and existing demand sourcesinto a comprehensive plan and collaborating with various departments to alignstrategies. He/she manages KPIs to improve forecast accuracy and supportstrategic decision-making following the monthly S&OP cycle. The DemandPlanner is the subject matter expert for demand planning and supports variousprojects including monthly demand plans, integration of new businesses, and newproduct launches. He/she will work closely with the regional executive team,sales, marketing, supply planners and finance departments to ensure that thecompany's sales and operations plans align with customer demand and are executed in a cost-effective manner.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Drive the monthly cycle of S&OP meetings to ensure a Consensus Demand Plan for the egion
  • Align with Regional S&OP meeting participants for timely preparation and adequate attendance for global and regional meetings
  • Drive monthly demand forecast aggregation, combining new (e.g., market trends, portfolio changes) and existing (e.g. SAP, CRM) demand data with the region while collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to ensure that the promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in the aggregate demand
  • Monitor and analyze current and historical market trends and customer demand patterns (Regional focus)
  • Analyze and provide insights on regional demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization
  • Participate in the development of statistical models to optimize demand plan in support of customer service levels
  • Measure, control, and improve Demand Plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
  • Assist in the resolution of key supply-demand/service-cost issues
