Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on commercial contracting.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
- In-house experience within technology, cloud services, digital infrastructure or related sectors is advantageous.
- Experience supporting large enterprise or strategic customer contracts is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts and service agreements.
- Provide legal support for commercial transactions and strategic business initiatives across the region.
- Partner closely with commercial, operations, finance and technical stakeholders to manage contractual and business risks.
- Advise on compliance matters relating to data protection, cybersecurity and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the digital infrastructure and technology sectors.
- Manage external legal counsel and support the delivery of legal projects where required.
- Contribute to the development of contract templates, policies and best-practice processes to improve operational efficiency.
