Job summary

Empower Partners Singapore is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to provide regional AML advisory across Asia Pacific. This hands-on, business-facing role requires regional exposure and collaboration with senior stakeholders to strengthen compliance frameworks.

You will lead second-line AML/CFT advisory, oversee risk controls, and work with regional teams to drive governance and regulatory alignment across markets, including Singapore and Greater China.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ AML/Financial Crime Compliance in financial services.
• Strong regional exposure, Singapore and HK/Greater China preferred.
• Broad AML/CFT expertise across advisory, risk assessment and controls.
• Asset management experience preferred; private banking or wealth management considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line AML/CFT advisory and oversight across Asian markets.
• Strengthen regional AML frameworks, controls, risk assessments and governance.
• Advise business stakeholders on regulatory requirements and financial crime risks.
• Oversee financial crime risks with external service providers.
• Support regional compliance enhancement initiatives and governance reporting.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to drive consistent compliance standards.
