Job summary

Our client, a well-established international energy company, seeks an experienced accounting professional to join their regional finance team in Singapore. The role covers financial reporting, statutory compliance, group consolidation, budgeting and forecasting across Singapore and regional entities.

Responsibilities include month-end reporting, group consolidation, statutory accounts, audits, GST and corporate tax submissions, along with APAC management reporting and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with 4-5 years of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience working across multiple entities and regional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing reporting deadlines, especially during month-end and quarter-end.
• Effective communication with auditors, tax advisers and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Singapore entities.
• Handle quarterly group consolidation and reporting, including joint-venture entities.
• Prepare statutory accounts, coordinate audits and support GST and corporate tax submissions.
• Produce APAC consolidated management reports with budget-versus-actual and forecast analysis.
• Support the annual budget process, rolling forecasts and five-year planning.
