Job summary

Our client, a logistics company with a strong regional presence, is seeking a GL Accountant to join their finance team in Singapore. You will own core accounting activities, support group reporting, and contribute to regional finance operations in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities include managing the full set of accounts for Singapore entities, monthly/quarterly/year-end closings, group reporting, GST filings, audits, and regional finance projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Multi-currency accounting exposure; familiarity with Dynamics BC or Oracle HFM is beneficial.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts for Singapore entities (GL, AP, AR, expenses).
• Handle monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing.
• Support group reporting, intercompany reconciliations and consolidation.
• Prepare GST filings, tax schedules and statutory reports.
• Liaise with external auditors on audits.
• Support regional accounting activities and ad hoc finance projects.
