Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in Singapore is seeking a senior Field Sales Manager for Microbial Solutions to lead assigned sales personnel and drive revenue in Singapore and Malaysia.

You will develop market strategies, manage forecasts, train and coach the sales team, coordinate with specialists, and ensure compliance with SOPs and biosafety protocols while expanding key accounts. This role requires 8–10 years in life sciences sales with client-facing experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in life sciences, sales or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years’ relevant industry experience with at least 5 years direct client interface.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Forecast annually for country and each sales territory.
• Develop sales, pricing and distribution strategies.
• Prepare a country sales management plan with targets and expansions.
• Drive upselling and cross-selling across Microbial Solutions brands.
• Achieve revenue objectives; grow revenue where possible.
• Coaching and feedback with sales team; travel with team as needed.
• Coordinate regional specialists’ usage for efficiency.
• Assist in training needs assessment and training actions.
• Oversee departmental budget and expenditures.
• Support hiring, promotions, transfers and performance reviews.
• Develop short- and long-range operating objectives and staffing.
• Develop and oversee training programs including orientation.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
