Job summary

HENG GOT MANPOWER PTE. LTD. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to install, repair and maintain refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial applications.

You will diagnose issues, replace components, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, strong knowledge of refrigeration and electrical systems, ability to read manuals and diagrams, and excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years’ experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Possess Class 3 License would be an added advantage.
• Min O-Level or equivalent. Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues (mechanical, electrical, refrigerant).
• Repair or replace faulty components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans).
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal performance and reduced breakdowns.
• Conduct system tests for performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels.
• Calibrate temperature controls and pressure switches as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations for refrigerants and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Stay updated with refrigeration tech advancements and industry trends.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/manager.
