Job summary

IKEA Singapore is seeking a front-line associate to support recovery operations and As-Is shop processes, including returns, repacking, pricing and stock movement. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver a positive customer experience and maintain a tidy, safe store area.

Fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of retail experience are welcomed. You should be confident talking to customers, able to multitask, and willing to join a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate; 1 year of relevant working experience, retail preferred
• Confident to approach and talk to people
• Enthusiastic about work and working with others in a team
• Ability to prioritise and organise own work to make efficient use of time
• Good personal discipline
• Able to handle customer enquiries and make decisions
• Able to handle several tasks at the same time

Responsibilities

• Support the handling and administration of returned and transferred products with the objective being to minimise loss and maximise profit
• Carry out IT data entry works documenting the returned products into appropriate bins
• Strive to minimise the financial loss of damaged in the store and maximise recovery by repacking and moving goods back to stock or assemble, price and sell goods in the As-Is shop
• Assist Exchange & Return in sourcing of replacement part or missing parts
• Re-pack products meant for Back-To-Stock (BTS)
• Assemble products for store themes in the store
• Handle quality claims of quality issues furniture
• Scrap quality claim furniture following procedures
• Print and stick As-Is price tags on the furniture for sale in As-Is shop
• Contribute to vitality and participate in in-store activities with manager
• Maintain a clean, tidy work area and prepare tools for next day
• Support As-Is furniture sales and serve customers in As-Is shop
