Job summary

Balik Kampung Spa seeks a friendly Spa Receptionist to manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure every guest experiences Balik Kampung hospitality at our Hillview outlet in Singapore.

You will greet guests, provide information on services and promotions, handle inquiries via multiple channels, and process payments while maintaining a welcoming reception area.

Qualifications

• Experience at a spa, clinic, hotel, or service desk preferred.
• Friendly, patient, well-groomed, and professional.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Basic math for cashiering and memberships.
• Comfortable using booking systems; training provided.
• English required; Chinese a plus for Hillview guests.

• Present services, packages, pricing, and promotions clearly.

About the role

As our Spa Receptionist, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments for massage and facial services, and ensure every guest feels the Balik Kampung spirit from the moment they walk in.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and check in guests for spa, massage, and facial appointments
• Provide clear information on services, packages, pricing, and promotions
• Handle guest inquiries (walk-in, phone, WhatsApp, online booking) professionally
• Ensure guest comfort in the waiting area (refreshments, intake forms)
• Manage appointment bookings using spa software/systemCoordinate with therapists to avoid double-booking or overloading schedules
• Process payments (cash, card, vouchers, memberships)
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
• Introduce and upsell spa packages, massage services add-ons, and package plans
• Answer calls and reply to messages promptly

About you

• Prior receptionist or front desk experience (spa, beauty, clinic, hotel, or service industry preferred)
• Friendly, patient, and well-groomed
• Organized with attention to detail
• Basic math for cashiering and memberships
• Comfortable with booking systems / Google Calendar / POS (training given)
• Good English + Chinese a plus for Hillview area's diverse guests
• Team player, proactive, calm under pressure (especially during peak hours)
