Job summary

YIZHEN INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Rebar Supervisor to lead daily rebar fixing works on construction sites. You will read and apply structural drawings, plan manpower and materials, and ensure safety and quality across installations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineers, preventing defects before casting, and reporting progress and resources to site management. The role requires organised, dependable leadership on active sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a construction team.
• Ability to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Familiarity with rebar installation methods, quality requirements and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily rebar fixing works on construction sites.
• Read structural drawings and bar bending schedules to guide workers on rebar placement and installation.
• Plan manpower, materials and work sequences to meet project schedules.
• Check rebar size, spacing, laps, anchorage and concrete cover against approved drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors and other trades to resolve site issues.
• Arrange inspections and rectify defects before concrete casting.
• Monitor material usage, minimise wastage and maintain good housekeeping.
• Conduct toolbox briefings and ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
• Report daily work progress, manpower deployment and material requirements to the site management team.
