Job summary

N8XT Aerospace PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a computer vision / image processing engineer to develop and implement algorithms and software for real-time object detection from multiple sources including electro-optical and thermal sensors.

You will research imaging systems, calibrate cameras for outdoor use, design and test processing pipelines, and work with data scientists and clients to deliver robust image solutions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, physics, mathematics or a related field.
• Experience in image processing and/or computer vision, preferably outdoor systems.
• Deep understanding of imaging system sensor characteristics and ISP concepts.
• Hands-on experience in image processing pipeline (focus, color management, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement algorithms to process and analyse images for object detection.
• Research imaging systems and validate them for outdoor real-time use.
• Design and test image processing systems with filters, edge detectors, feature extractors and classifiers.
• Optimize performance of image processing algorithms using parallel computing and ML/DL.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, researchers and clients to gather requirements.
• Document and present results of image processing experiments and analyses.
