Job summary

Galatek is seeking a Software Engineering Manager / Tech Lead to architect the real-time software engine for next-gen semiconductor equipment. You will lead a high-performance team, coordinating with mechanical, motion, vision, and systems groups to deliver complex hardware-enabled software.

You will drive architecture, end-to-end NPI execution, and engineering standards, including CI/CD and automated testing, in a fast-paced, on-site setting in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development with 3+ years leading technical teams in semiconductor equipment or high-tech automation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related.
• Experience with Agile workflows (sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management).

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the software team, driving hiring and career development.
• Define modular, scalable real-time software architecture for motion control and vision.
• Oversee end-to-end software design across NPI lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with system, motion, electrical, and mechanical engineers for integration.
• Establish CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile practices.
