Job summary

Webot is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, implement, and optimize its risk control system for real-time monitoring and prevention. You will build a real-time risk engine, develop risk rules and anti-fraud features, and enhance data collection and processing to support scalable risk management.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong coding practices in Go or Python, and hands-on experience with MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, FinTech, or related fields.
• At least 1 year of backend development experience; experience in risk control or anti-fraud systems is preferred.
• Proficient in backend languages (Go or Python) with good coding practices.
• Familiar with middleware such as MySQL, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong teamwork, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills for cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize the risk control system for efficient monitoring and prevention.
• Build a real-time risk control engine, including risk rules, model calculations, anti-fraud detection, and related features.
• Design and optimize data collection, cleaning, and computation processes to enhance data processing.
• Develop risk control strategy management tools to improve flexibility and adjustability.
• Monitor system performance, optimize efficiency, and ensure high availability and low latency.
