Job summary

Shopee is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement high-performance, highly stable platform services that power risk analytics and data computations. You will contribute to offline and real-time data development for risk analysis and model training, and apply AI techniques to enhance anti-fraud system engineering.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of backend experience in high-concurrency environments, familiarity with large-scale data platforms like Flink and Spark, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience in designing and optimizing high-concurrency, high-availability backend services.
• At least 1 year of full-time experience in big data platforms such as Flink, Spark.
• Hands-on experience in applying or fine-tuning LLM/AI.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to abstract complex business logic into scalable system designs.
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
