Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Metrology & Real-Time Defect Analysis Engineer to drive product quality and yield improvements through advanced measurement and inspection solutions for semiconductor fabrication.

The role emphasizes metrology, defect analysis, data analytics, and SPC techniques to detect deviations, identify defect origins, and implement corrective actions. Collaboration across teams and with suppliers is required in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop metrology and inspection recipes to provide rapid, accurate feedback on product integrity.
Apply advanced analytics to identify and address process deviations.
Design experiments to identify defect sources and mechanisms for improvement.
Collaborate with engineers across departments to implement breakthrough defectivity solutions.
Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality in daily work.
Support fab through data analysis and recommendations on process changes and cost reduction.
