Job summary

TikTok is seeking an intern for its Global Live Data BP team to empower the Live business through data warehousing and analytics. You will help design scalable data flows, support real-time and batch processing, and contribute to data tools that improve decision making.

You will work with Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Kafka, and HBase while building practical data products and dashboards. Apply early and include your availability in your resume.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/ Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid technical foundation with coding skills in SQL, Python, Scala, Java, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Participate in building offline and real-time data warehouses for the TikTok Live business.
• Work with PB-scale data and support the daily processing of hundreds of billions of user data records.
• Support the full big data lifecycle, including data generation, transmission, modeling, statistical analysis, experiment evaluation, and visualization.
