The role emphasizes end-to-end product development, debugging across layers, and cross-functional collaboration with hardware and algorithm teams. This is a hands-on, production-focused position at Rapsodo Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years in an engineering role with end-to-end product development exposure.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and multi-threading.
• Experience close to the system layer (Linux, BSP, drivers) and OS basics.
• Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting; able to debug across layers.
• Ownership mindset with proactive problem solving; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Integrate components across Linux BSP, drivers, middleware, and app layers into a cohesive system.
• Ensure compatibility, stability, and performance across the full device software stack.
• Identify system-level risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early in development.
• Debug complex issues across BSP, drivers, middleware, and C++ applications.
• Analyze and optimize multi-threaded systems for low latency and deterministic performance.
• Investigate issues that involve both software behavior and real-world system conditions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and algorithm teams to ensure system alignment.
• Translate product requirements into clear system behaviors and validation criteria.
• Deliver reliable, production-ready features used in real-world environments.
