Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a frontend developer to design and build UI components for real-time audio effects and interactive web experiences. You’ll work with audio and backend teams to define APIs, while shipping prototypes and user-facing features across products.

A strong focus on performance, accessibility, and cross‑device compatibility is expected. The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in frontend development, solid knowledge of Vue (and React/Svelte), and familiarity with modern tooling like

Qualifications

• At least 1-2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Experience building audio apps with Web Audio API or highly interactive web apps.
• Knowledge of strategies to optimize browser rendering.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS with accessibility in mind.
• Proficient in Vue; familiarity with AngularJS, jQuery, or vanilla JS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of React, Vue, or Svelte rendering patterns.
• Experience with modern tooling (Vite, Rollup, Parcel, etc.).
• Solid understanding of UX design principles.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills for frontend code.
• Good communication to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine UI components for real-time audio effects, including effect chains and presets.
• Collaborate with audio/backend teams to define frontend APIs and data structures.
• Contribute to prototypes and user-facing features across products.
• Optimize existing web apps for performance and scalability.
• Develop performant apps for desktop and mobile browsers.
• Develop tools for performance monitoring and error tracking.
• Participate in code reviews and drive refactoring and new design patterns.
