Job summary

DJ Engineering & Construction PTE. LTD. is seeking a technically competent Drafter with reinforced concrete (RC) drafting experience to support engineering and construction projects in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will interpret technical information accurately and produce clear, coordinated drawings in line with project requirements. The role requires RC drafting expertise, a relevant civil/structural drafting qualification, and proficiency with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• RC drafting experience is mandatory.
• Diploma/Certificate in Civil/Structural Drafting or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in reinforced concrete construction drawings and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update RC drawings, layouts, sections and related drafting deliverables.
• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specs and markups into accurate CAD drawings.
• Develop detailed RC drawings for construction and coordination purposes.
• Revise drawings promptly based on design changes and project comments.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and MEP information as required.
• Check dimensions, levels and annotations for accuracy before submission.
• Maintain drawing revisions, file naming conventions and document control.
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM teams and project personnel to resolve drafting issues.
• Support preparation of as-built or revised drawings when required.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining drafting quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare andupdate reinforced concrete drawings, layouts, sections, details and relateddrafting deliverables.

• Developdetailed RC drawings for construction and coordination purposes.

• Checkdimensions, levels, annotations, drawing references and detailing for accuracybefore submission.

REQUIREMENTS

• RC draftingexperience is mandatory.
• RelevantDiploma, Certificate or technical qualification in Civil Engineering,Structural Engineering, Drafting or a related field is preferred.
• Goodknowledge of reinforced concrete construction drawings and detailing.
• Proficiencyin AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
• Ability toread and understand structural and construction drawings.
• Goodattention to detail, accuracy and drawing discipline.
• Ability towork independently as well as coordinate with engineers and project teams.
• Singaporeproject experience will be an advantage.
