Job summary

Qidongjinhua Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Safety Officer in Singapore with reinforced concrete experience to lead safety programmes on site.

You will independently prepare risk assessments, SWPs, and lifting plans, and respond to safety observations, NCRs, and MOM reports. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and maintaining safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Singapore construction industry with RC exposure.
• Ability to independently prepare RA, SWP and Lifting Plans.
• Proven track record in responding to Safety Observations, NCRs and Safety Reports.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.
• Possess relevant safety qualifications and certifications.
• Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor workplace safety programmes.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Prepare RA, SWP and Lifting Plans.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare reports to MOM.
• Address Safety Observations and NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection and training records.
• Ensure workers’ PPE is safe and in good condition.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors and subcontractors on site safety matters.
• Assist the Project Manager with safety matters and attend site meetings.
• Prepare safety reports for management.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
