Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore seeks a ground operations professional to support safe aircraft handling and coordinating loading processes. The role requires clear English communication and teamwork across teams for arrivals and departures.

Ideal candidates have NITEC or equivalent, are comfortable with rotating shifts including weekends/public holidays, and can adapt to a fast-paced airport environment while maintaining safety standards and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent qualification is required.
• Be able to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Conversant and confident in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Ramp Control Centre, gate staff, baggage unit, load control, tow tug, and PIC using headset or radios.
• Ensure aircraft safety by following airside rules and load data requirements.
• Manage manpower to handle aircraft within Precision Time Sequence for arrivals/departures.
• Cross-train for PLB docking and headset duties for arrivals and departures.
• Follow SOPs for multiple airlines during arrival/departure procedures.
• Communicate clearly in English with the PIC and other contacts during duty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating with the Ramp Control Centre, gate staff, baggage unit, load control, tow tug operator, and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) using a headset, walkie talkie or company phone.
• Ensuring aircraft safety by adhering airside safety regulations, as well as to the Load Instruction Report (LIR) and Flight Load Data (FLD) for accurate weight and loading compliance.
• Efficiently managing manpower to handle aircraft within Precision Time Sequence (PTS) for arrivals and departures.
• Cross-training for passenger load bridges (PLB) docking and headset duties for arriving and departing aircraft.
• Adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for multiple airlines during arrival and departure procedures.
• Communicating clearly and effectively in English with the PIC and other POCs as required during duty

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• NITEC and/or equivalent
• Able to perform rotating shift work including weekends and public holidays
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, be adaptable to change, and work well in a team.
• Conversant and confident in English
• 5/6 days work week
• Company transportation provided for shift between 11:00pm to 6:00am
