Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Training Delivery Lead to manage end-to-end functional training, onboarding, and competency validation within the airline catering and ground services network.

You will coordinate with BU Operations to align schedules with busy operations, track progress, conduct regular OJT quality reviews, and drive improvements through metrics and innovation. Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and certifications such as ACLP/ACTA for advantage; strong

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred (e.g., HRD, Education, Engineering).
  • ACLP or ACTA certifications provide an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of airport operations and safety-critical environments.
  • Experience with OJT delivery, assessment, and competency validation.
  • Attention to detail and disciplined documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end functional training delivery, including onboarding, OJT, assessments, and readiness validation.
  • Ensure timely time-to-competency via structured training pathways and competency-based assessments.
  • Deliver training programmes per approved curriculum, OJT docs, and assessment standards.
  • Regularly review OJT quality and assessment consistency; address deviations promptly.
  • Coordinate with BU Operations to align training schedules with deployment needs.
  • Monitor trainee progress and readiness; intervene to close performance gaps.
  • Manage trainer and coach capability, including recertification cycles.
  • Track training metrics (compliance/training) and drive corrective actions.
  • Provide reporting on BU training performance, risks, and improvement actions to Head of Ops Capability & Development.
  • Support learning-innovation initiatives to boost capability and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end functional training delivery, including onboarding, OJT, assessments, and readiness validation.
  • Ensure timely "time-to-competency" through structured training pathways and robust competency-based assessments
  • Ensure functional training programmes are delivered in accordance with approved curriculum, OJT documentation, and assessment standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews of OJT quality and assessment consistency, addressing deviations promptly.
  • Coordinate closely with BU Operations to align training schedules, sequencing, and deployment plans with operational needs.
  • Monitor trainee progress and readiness, ensuring timely interventions for performance gaps or delays.
  • Execute trainer and coach capability management, including competency validation, recertification cycles, and targeted development interventions to sustain training quality.
  • Monitor training performance metrics (including compliance training and refresher), identify gaps or risks, and implement corrective actions to improve outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on BU training performance, risks, and improvement actions to Head of Operations Capability & Development.
  • Support and implement learning innovation initiatives to enhance organisational capability, training effectiveness, and alignment with business and regulatory needs.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resource Development, Education, Engineering) is preferred. Candidates with ACLP or ACTA certifications will have an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of airport operations and safety-critical environments.
  • Practical experience in OJT delivery, assessment, and competency validation.
  • Ability to manage training schedules in high-pressure, operationally constrained environments.
  • Good coaching, facilitation, and feedback skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and discipline in documentation and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively with frontline supervisors, trainers, and operations leaders.
