Job summary

SATS Ltd., located in Singapore, invites qualified professionals to join the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) team as Duty Manager, Cruise Services. The role covers overseeing terminal operations, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring high service standards for cruise passengers.

You will lead a team, manage rosters, and support a vibrant, customer-focused cruise service environment at MBCCS, with opportunities to contribute to safety, efficiency and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Diploma holders with experience in operations work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently in a demanding environment.
• Customer service focus with flexibility and adaptability.
• Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to do some manual work.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage terminal and wharf operations, including equipment and facilities.
• Monitor, update and ensure compliance with service standards, policies and Cruise Terminal Authority guidelines.
• Plan, communicate and liaise with external stakeholders on operational matters.
• Prepare and submit relevant reports to management, government authorities and stakeholders.
• Plan, guide and deploy porters, traffic marshals and service ambassadors.
• Some knowledge of installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Undertake other ad-hoc assignments and duties as required.

About Us

Located near Singapore's lifestyle and financial hub at Marina South, the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) is the first purpose-built terminal designed to accommodate the new generation of cruise ships.

Operated by SATS-Creuers Cruise Services Pte Ltd (SCCS), a joint venture between SATS Limited and Creuers del Port de Barcelona, the MBCCS is set to be the centre piece of cruising in Southeast Asia where we effectively combine efficient terminal handling and the delivery of a memorable passenger experience. Key Responsibilities

THE ROLE

• 1. Oversee and manage terminal and wharf operations, including the terminal's equipment and facilities.
• 2. Monitor, update and ensure compliance with service standards, policies, procedures and Cruise Terminal Authority guidelines to fulfill and deliver good service quality.
• 3. Plan, communicate and liaise with external stakeholders on operational matters.

• 5. Plan, guide and deploy porters, traffic marshals and service ambassadors to perform their roles.
• 6. Some knowledge installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• 7. Undertake other ad-hoc assignments and duties as required.
