Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to oversee railway systems projects from design to handover. You will coordinate subcontractors and system integrators, review designs, monitor installation, and ensure safe, compliant integration of networking equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or IT, with relevant railway experience and vendor coordination skills. Experience in reviewing technical deliverables is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in railway systems, communications, telecommunications, system integration or technical project engineering.
• Experience in vendor management, subcontractor coordination or reviewing technical deliverables would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and system integrators to meet project specs and requirements.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, network architectures and installation plans for compliance.
• Monitor installation and integration of railway communications systems, networking equipment and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate system interfaces and ensure reliable onboard-backend data transmission.
• Ensure compliance with railway safety standards, cybersecurity and industry regulations.
• Conduct technical reviews and work with vendors on corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing, performance verification and acceptance activities.
• Liaise with project teams, engineers, subcontractors and external stakeholders to track progress and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and handover documents.
• Provide technical support to the Project or Commissioning Manager.
