Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks a Project Engineer to oversee railway system integration and vendor coordination. You will review designs, monitor installation, and ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements across onboard and backend systems.

The role involves coordinating interfaces, conducting technical reviews, and supporting the Project/Commissioning Manager with documentation and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT or related discipline.
• Experience in railway systems, communications, system integration or technical project engineering.
• Experience in vendor management or subcontractor coordination is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee subcontractors and system integrators to ensure engineering works meet project specifications and technical requirements.
• Review engineering designs, technical drawings, network architectures and installation plans for compliance.
• Monitor the installation and integration of railway communication systems, networking equipment and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate system interfaces and ensure reliable communication and data transmission between onboard and backend systems.
• Ensure compliance with railway safety standards, cybersecurity requirements and relevant industry regulations.
• Conduct technical reviews, identify potential issues and work with vendors to implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate system testing, performance verification and acceptance activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Liaise with project teams, engineers, subcontractors and external stakeholders to track progress and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, project reports and system handover documents.
• Provide technical support to the Project or Commissioning Manager and assist with other project-related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in railway systems, communications, telecommunications, system integration or technical project engineering.
• Experience in vendor management, subcontractor coordination or reviewing technical deliverables would be an advantage.
