Job summary

Hitachi Rail Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple rail signalling projects in Singapore and the APAC region. You will develop plans, manage resources, and drive delivery within time, budget, and quality standards.

The role requires 5–10 years of PM experience in engineering or related fields, with strong leadership and stakeholder management. PMO processes, safety and quality adherence, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management practices and methodologies.
• Ability to lead multi-country, multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication with senior management, customers and partners.
• 5–10 years of project management experience in engineering or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CBTC or rail signalling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple small to medium projects to deliver train control solutions in Singapore/APAC.
• Develop project plans and schedules, drive teams to meet time, budget and quality targets.
• Engage multi-disciplinary departments to secure resources and prepare status reports for management and customers.
• Own the project P&Ls and ensure delivery of all milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with PMO for EAC process, forecasts and risk management; ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Services Development/Operations to align on strategy and engineering excellence.
