Job summary

GATES PCM CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a Works Train Supervisor to oversee operations within the assigned area (Depot, Mainline or Consist). You will supervise Controllers, Assistant Superintendents and front-line staff to ensure safe and reliable rail services.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or GCE A-Level with 5+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to lead a team and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or GCE A-Level with minimum 5 years' relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime on a regular basis.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team of supervisors and operators.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Works Train Controllers, Assistant Superintendents and Operators/Supervisors.
• Conduct or arrange safety briefings related to Works Train operation.
• Handle operational situations, incidents and accidents, and implement recovery measures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime on a regular basis.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team of supervisors and operators.
