Job summary

GATES PCM CONSTRUCTION LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist the Works Train Superintendent in daily management of the assigned area, such as Depot, Mainline or Consist. You will directly supervise Controllers and operating teams on site.

This role requires a Diploma in engineering or GCE A-Level with at least 5 years’ relevant experience, with the ability to lead a team, work independently and perform overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in an engineering discipline or GCE A-Level, with minimum 5 years' relevant working experience (or equivalent), subject to Officer-in-charge's acceptance.
• Able to work independently and perform overtime on a regular basis.
• Able to lead and take charge of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily Works Train operations for the assigned area.
• Supervise Works Train Controllers and front-line personnel.
• Conduct safety briefings and handle on-site incidents, escalating where necessary.
• Prepare weekly reports to the Officer-in-charge using Microsoft Office.
