Job summary

Public Service Division Executive Engineer/Engineer, Mechanical Services (Rail) is responsible for design and engineering support across rail, road tunnel and bus infrastructures. You will study technical requirements, uphold standards and contribute to tender reviews, site supervision and testing.

Candidates should have knowledge of mechanical engineering and relevant experience; Senior Engineer requires at least 5 years, Executive Engineer at least 2 years.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Engineer: At least 5 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical systems/services stated in the above job description.
• Executive Engineer: At least 2 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical system/service stated in the above job description.
• Candidates without working experience are also welcome to apply.
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards and specs for air-conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, tunnel ventilation, lifts and escalators.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders; review design submissions; supervise sites; test and commission works.
