Educare Human Capital Private Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) for a Rail Infrastructure project on a 6-month contract. You will prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents, plus monitor budgets, cash flow, and variation orders.

The role requires reading technical drawings, cost estimation, and proficiency in Excel and QS software. Collaboration with project teams and suppliers is essential, with site visits as needed.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure or construction projects.
• Railway, MRT, trackwork or other rail infrastructure experience is preferred/required, subject to client confirmation.
• Familiar with cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ, progress claims and variation orders.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant QS software.
• Good communication, coordination and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQ, tender documents and cost breakdowns for rail infrastructure works.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements based on drawings, specs and site information.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, progress claims and cash flow.
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, subcontractor claims and payment claims.
• Assist with tender submissions, procurement comparisons and cost reports.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and quantities.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts and supporting documents.
