Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an individual to perform patient care activities and assist radiographers. Responsibilities include basic hygiene support, data entry into the Radiology Information System, and daily equipment maintenance. Candidates should have at least an N Level qualification and preferably a WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum N Level qualification is required.
• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic Patient Care activities and assist with personal care.
• Assist doctors or radiographers in examination rooms.
• Help with data entry into Radiology Information System.
• Conduct daily Equipment Preventive Maintenance for General X-Ray machine.
• Comfortable interacting with patients.
• Perform administrative duties and data collection.
• Data collection and manage storage/retrieval of request forms.

Job description

The incumbent is responsible to

• Perform basic Patient Care activities e.g. providing instruction and assisting patients with general hygiene and personal care activities e.g. changing of patient’s clothing
• Assist doctors or radiographers in examination rooms e.g transferring patient onto examination couch, act as chaperon, preparing patient for radiological procedures.
• Assist the radiographer in data entry into Worklist, Radiology Information System
• Perform the daily Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) for General X-Ray machine
• Comfortable with interacting with patients
• Administration duties
• Data collection
• Maintain the storage of request forms and assist in retrieving request forms from storage/ system

Job Requirements

• Minimum N Level
• WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or its equivalent is preferred
• Computer literate
