Job summary

EnviroDynamics Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Verification Technician to support testing and verification of next‑generation hardware for high‑performance Ethernet switching systems. You will set up test environments, execute hardware and network tests, and collect measurement data.

Collaborating with design engineers, you will ensure verification activities stay on schedule, create or modify basic automation scripts, interpret requirements, and present results.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in hardware testing, system verification or electronics lab work.
• Able to operate basic to sophisticated laboratory instruments.
• Proficient in reading or modifying basic test automation scripts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute hardware system verification tests, including temperature and voltage corner testing.
• Configure long-duration test environments using traffic generators and laboratory equipment.
• Interpret test requirements and configurations accurately.
• Create or modify basic automation and Tera Term scripts.
• Collect, compile and present test results for review by design engineers.
• Troubleshoot test setup and hardware-related issues.
• Plan and manage verification activities to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technical contributors.

Job Summary

Support the testing and verification of next-generation hardware for high-performance Ethernet switching systems. You will set up test environments, execute hardware and network tests, collect measurement data and work closely with design engineers to ensure verification activities are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and execute hardware system verification tests, including:
  • Temperature and voltage corner testing
  • Bit Error Rate (BER) testing
  • High-voltage testing
  • Copper, optical, RJ45 and transceiver parametric testing
  • Ethernet compliance testing
  • Network traffic and stress testing
• Configure long-duration test environments using traffic generators, cable farms and laboratory equipment.
• Interpret test requirements and configurations accurately.
• Create or modify basic automation and Tera Term scripts.
• Collect, compile and present test results for review by design engineers.
• Perform fine-component PCB/PCA rework when required.
• Troubleshoot test setup and hardware-related issues.
• Plan and manage assigned verification activities to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technical contributors.
• Comply strictly with workplace, network, cybersecurity and data-security requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in hardware testing, system verification or electronics laboratory work.
• Able to operate basic and sophisticated laboratory instruments.
• Good PCB/PCA fine-component rework and soldering skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for compiling and presenting test data.
• Able to read or modify basic Tera Term or test automation scripts.
• Familiarity with networking and Ethernet technologies is advantageous.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined and committed to quality, punctuality and workplace compliance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
