Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking an R&D Specialist in Tuas, Singapore, offering a monthly basic salary of S$4,500–S$6,000. A Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in specialty chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, or water treatment is required.

You will work with sales and marketing to identify waste sources, develop new treatment methods, expand lab capabilities, and advance technologies through collaborations with universities and research institutes.

Qualifications

• Ph.D in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in specialty chemical manufacturing/applications, oil & gas or water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales/marketing to understand waste sources and support the commercialization of recovery products.
• Source, develop and apply new treatment methods/processes/technologies for industrial wastes.
• Establish cost-effective treatment/recovery methods for new incoming wastes with operations.
• Expand laboratory process and analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with universities/research institutes on new technologies for waste treatment/management.
• Drive continuous operation improvements through process optimization or alternative methods.
• Follow procedures and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
