Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a visionary research leader to develop and optimize waste treatment processes, driving technical feasibility and cost efficiency.

The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Operations, evaluates new technologies, and designs resource recovery solutions to maximise value from waste streams. A PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in chemical manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize waste treatment and handling processes for existing, new, and unidentified waste streams, ensuring technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to assess waste sources, identify treatment and resource recovery opportunities, support commercialization, and conduct pilot trials.
• Research, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies and alternative treatment methods to enhance operational performance and sustainability.
• Design and develop resource recovery solutions to maximize waste valorization and generate additional value from waste streams.
• Establish and enhance laboratory capabilities, including process development, analytical techniques, and testing methodologies to support research and development activities.
• Partner with universities, research institutions, technology providers, and other external stakeholders to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.

Basic Up to: $5500 + AWS + VB + Sign-on Bonus + $120 transport allowance if possess own transport

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm)

Your Responsibilities: -

• Develop and optimize waste treatment and handling processes for existing, new, and unidentified waste streams, ensuring technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to assess waste sources, identify treatment and resource recovery opportunities, support commercialization, and conduct pilot trials.
• Research, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies and alternative treatment methods to enhance operational performance and sustainability.
• Design and develop resource recovery solutions to maximize waste valorization and generate additional value from waste streams.
• Establish and enhance laboratory capabilities, including process development, analytical techniques, and testing methodologies to support research and development activities.
• Partner with universities, research institutions, technology providers, and other external stakeholders to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by refining existing processes, improving treatment efficiency, and implementing cost-effective operational solutions.

You will need: -

• Ph.D in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Min 5 yrs working in chemical manufacturing industry
