Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Singapore is seeking an innovative R&D Software Engineer to develop next-generation software solutions for semiconductor device characterization, parameter extraction, compact modeling, and AI-assisted engineering automation.

You will contribute to flagship platforms such as IC-CAP, MBP, WaferPro, and MQA while leveraging modern software engineering and AI techniques to improve productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, EE, Physics, Applied Math, or related field.
• 3+ years of software development for scientific, engineering, EDA, or semiconductor applications.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python with OO design experience.
• Experience with numerical methods, optimization, data analysis, or mathematical modeling.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device characterization, compact modeling, or EDA software development is desirable.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI, and Agile methodologies.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data preprocessing, and model validation; AI/ML knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for semiconductor device characterization and model generation.
• Enhance applications supporting device modeling platforms such as IC-CAP, MBP, WaferPro, and MQA.
• Develop numerical optimization, data analysis, and wafer-level automation algorithms.
• Build scalable software, APIs, and automation workflows to improve performance and reliability.
• Integrate AI-assisted solutions to automate workflows and improve model extraction accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet customer and business requirements.
• Follow Agile practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, CI, and product delivery.
