Job summary

KEYSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE (SALES) PTE. LTD. is seeking R&D Software Engineers to design and build test automation tools with AI-enabled capabilities. You will shape software architecture, improve code quality, and implement new features across the stack.

The role covers backend and frontend development, micro-services patterns, and continuous learning in modern software practices. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages from Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C#, AngularJS.
• Experience with micro-services, front-end tech, and OOP.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL or similar databases.
• Knowledge of HTTP(S), TCP/IP and UDP and browser behavior.
• Interest in AI/ML is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a few passionate R&D Software Engineers to develop test automation tools, incorporating artificial intelligence into the functionality. You will be responsible for software architectural design and improvement, maintenance and refactoring, tuning and code optimization, and implementation of new features. You must be an avid learner, passionate about your career advancement, passionate about modern software practices, absolutely love to code and strive to outperform.

Responsbilities:

• Design and develop product software, APIs, user interface, tooling, automations and monitoring services on a defined platform and continue to expand the software features and capabilities to meet market needs
• Develop new features and improvements using a wide variety of programming languages and technologies
• Able to work on the full stack – back end, server-side development as well as front end development.
• Candidates with only back end, server-side development, or frontend development are encouraged to apply as well.
• Participate in Agile development process
• Familiar with the software development life cycle from preliminary system analysis to test and deployment
• Implement unit tests and automated regressions tests to ensure software quality
• Handle escalation from the support and consultancy teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering/Computer Science with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Highly proficient in at least two of the following: Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C#, AngularJS
• Expertise with Micro-services framework, front-end development technologies, Object Oriented Programming
• Knowledge working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Experience with network protocols such as HTTP(S), TCP/IP and UDP
• Solid understanding of how browsers work
• Added advantage for candidates with experience in using Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional software
• You must have a real passion for coding and a keen interest to continue learning and trying out new technologies
• An interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning a plus
