Job summary

cargo community network pte ltd is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and support internal applications and AI-powered solutions. You will leverage AI-assisted coding tools, build AI agents, and implement automation to improve operations, decision-making, and user experiences.

You will work on enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and APIs, while aligning with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and improve quality.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered solutions such as AI agents, chatbots, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, source control (Git), and automated testing.
• Database design, optimization, and reporting with SQL Server or equivalent.

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with a passion for application development, process improvement, and AI-driven innovation to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting internal applications and digital solutions that improve business operations and productivity. The role includes leveraging modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted coding tools, code generation platforms, and building AI-powered applications and intelligent agents to automate processes, improve decision-making, and enhance user experiences.

As part of the team, you will contribute to establishing software development standards, application support processes, and technology best practices while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement across IT and business functions.

Key Functions

• Support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of internally developed business applications, governance enforcement systems, and digital solutions (e.g., billing systems, customer registration systems, workflow applications, and operational tools).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation across all business departments.
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using various technologies, including .NET, APIs, automation platforms, business intelligence (BI) reporting tools, and AI technologies.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and code generation technologies to improve development productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, intelligent assistants, chatbots, and workflow automation capabilities to enhance business operations and user experiences.
• Support end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve productivity, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or equivalent modern development frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to accelerate software development and improve code quality.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTAPIs, system integrations, and microservices-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-powered solutions, including AI agents, chatbots, conversational AI, document processing, knowledge search, or workflow automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and automated testing.
• Knowledge of database design, optimization, and reporting solutions using SQL Server or equivalent database platforms.
• Experience implementing business process automation, digital transformation, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of application security, data privacy, governance, and responsible AI practices.
