Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking a Process Technician to prepare wafers for experimentation, operate reactors for thin film processes, and use scanning electron microscopes for analyses. You will record conditions, perform maintenance, and prepare cross-section samples for analysis in a cleanroom environment.

You will collaborate with engineers to develop process technology for advanced semiconductor processes, and ensure data collection and feedback to optimize yields.

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of semiconductor manufacturing or R&D experience.
• Experience in cleanroom operations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with SOP compliance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineer to develop process technology for advanced semiconductor processes.
• Perform basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes per engineer.
• Own execution of module process, data collection for measurement & inspection, and data sharing with engineer.
• Coordinate with CH and metrology tool owners to align tool time, execute process sequence, collect data.
• Occasional overtime to support process engineering activities.
