Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a technically capable professional to lead customer-driven projects and second-source qualification efforts. You will participate in new product development, plan resources, and design experiments, while conducting hands-on lab trial work and data analysis.

You will prepare clear reports and maintain accurate documentation, support sample requests, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of material science, assembly materials (e.g., paste, powder, flux), or related applications.
• Familiarity with data analysis methods and statistical tools.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-driven (CD) projects and second-source qualification initiatives, including project planning, execution, regular stakeholder alignment, and technical reporting.
• Support new product development activities, including participation in technical discussions, resource planning, and experimental design.
• Assist in laboratory trial runs, including hands-on work, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis.
• Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation, reports, and test records.
• Support customer sample requests and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, laboratory standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Provide technical support for internal stakeholders and external requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to support product development and troubleshooting.
• Support administrative tasks, including SAP data updates, documentation control, and laboratory cleanliness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform other assigned duties as required.
