Job summary

JR FOODS PTE. LTD. seeks a Food Science & Technology professional to lead development and testing of new products, menus, and recipes for production scale.

You will conduct sensory evaluations, ensure regulatory compliance in target markets, prepare costings, and document workflows. Collaboration with Marketing helps tailor solutions to customer needs; Central Kitchen experience and audits are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or relevant field
• Experience with ISO, SFA, Halal and F&B outlet audits
• Previous Central Kitchen experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards
• 2–3 years of related work experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new products, menu ideas, and product concepts and recipes.
• Conceptualize, develop, test and scale new recipes for kitchen production and R&D.
• Continually test, improve and scale new and existing product item recipes.
• Conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new products/recipes.
• Ensure product creation complies with customer, government and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs.
• Meticulously document and record all work in databases (recipes, prep lists, orders).
• Collaborate with Marketing to understand customer needs and assist in troubleshooting.
• Develop innovative solutions to add value within cost and manufacturing constraints.
• Handover new products to Production smoothly; support R&D product development with Production Head Chef.
