Job summary

ZEN CAREER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Lead Food Technologist to guide a team and drive product innovation across bakery, confectionery, dairy, and beverage platforms.

You will lead end-to-end R&D projects from concept development and formulation to pilot trials, production scale-up and commercialisation, collaborating with Production, QA, Regulatory, Marketing and external partners. You will mentor junior Food Technologists to strengthen the team's capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Food Technologists in developing, modifying and commercialising innovative food products.
• Drive end-to-end R&D projects from concept development and formulation to pilot trials, production scale-up and commercialisation.
• Develop innovative food concepts based on market trends, customer needs and developments in health, nutrition and future foods.
• Lead projects across categories such as bakery, confectionery, dairy, culinary, ready-to-eat foods and beverages.
• Provide technical expertise in food formulation, ingredient applications and product/process optimisation.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Regulatory, Marketing, Engineering and external research partners to deliver successful projects.
• Manage R&D projects, timelines, resources and budgets while ensuring technical, quality and regulatory requirements are met.
• Mentor junior Food Technologists and contribute to strengthening the team's food technology and innovation capabilities.
