Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking an R&D equipment technician to perform setup, qualifications, PM and calibrations in engineering labs. You will troubleshoot, rebuild and modify equipment, maintain documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely solutions while prioritizing safety.

Requirements include a Polytechnic Engineering Diploma, 2+ years in engineering, and knowledge of semiconductor processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes and technologies preferred.
• High cooperation with good communication skills.
• Proactive, highly driven, and able to multi-task.
• Experience with Semiconductor R&D equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D equipment set-up, qualifications, PM & calibrations.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues in R&D labs.
• Rebuild and modify engineering equipment as required.
• Maintain equipment documentation and tracking records.
• Respond to customer requests and prioritize accordingly.
• Adhere to safety procedures, PPE, lockout and chemical safety.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment per safety guidelines.
• Support internal and external lab audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for setup, upgrade and repair.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity.
