Job summary

BD in Singapore is seeking a motivated R&D Engineer to join the Product Development team on a 12‑month fixed-term contract. You will help bring innovative medical device solutions from concept to commercialization, working with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams.

The role offers exposure to the full product development lifecycle in a highly regulated environment, with opportunities to build expertise in design verification, testing, and product commercialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline as listed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Translate customer, clinical, and performance requirements into engineering solutions.
• Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate product performance.
• Analyze data and communicate findings through reports and presentations.
• Ensure design documentation and change controls comply with quality/regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on molding, assembly, packaging, and sterilization processes.
• Contribute to DHF and IP documentation and opportunities.
• Travel occasionally as required.
