Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is partnering with a leading medical devices manufacturer in Singapore's East region to hire an R&D Design Engineer.

You will design, develop, and improve products based on project needs, from concept through prototyping and testing to production. Work with cross‑functional teams on NPI and engineering projects, perform prototype evaluation and design verification, and prepare drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design products for manufacturability.
• Experience in R&D or product development within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve products based on project requirements.
• Support product development from concept, prototyping, testing, through to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for NPI and engineering projects.
• Conduct prototype evaluation, testing and design verification activities.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
