Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an R&D Backend Engineer for HDD manufacturing to drive backend process development, support hardware modification, and ensure smooth transfer of process settings to production.

You will work with the Reliability team on evaluations to establish Spin Stand HDD correlation, apply advanced data analysis and SPC, and contribute to lubricant development through chemistry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science (Chemistry/Physics), or Materials Science and Engineering.
• Experience in the manufacturing with relevant work experiences.
• Chemistry knowledge to support lubricant development activities.
• Materials science and nanotribology knowledge.
• Process improvement skills; proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced data analysis and statistical process control.
