Job summary

CENTRAL BUILDERS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, cost control, and contract administration on construction projects. You will measure quantities, review contracts, prepare variation orders, and liaise with subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

You should have a degree in QS or related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience. Based in Tai Seng, North-East Singapore, you will join a proactive team focused on accuracy and growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer tender documents, cost summaries, and tender submissions.
• Prepare and review contracts, cost estimates, and related documentation.
• Measure quantities, assess progress, and certify progress claims.
• Manage contract administration, including variation orders for main and subcontract work.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and subcontractor payments.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and pricing.
• Identify discrepancies in tender and contract documents and seek clarification.
• Perform other QS duties as assigned.
