Oneness M&C Pte Ltd is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control across project lifecycles in Singapore. You will prepare take-offs, estimates, and tender submissions, and handle progress claims and final accounts.
The role requires 2+ years of QS experience, ability to read drawings, and strong negotiation and communication skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and project specifications.
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims and payment recommendations.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare cost reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Liaise with project managers, site personnel, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial and contractual matters.
Support procurement of materials and subcontract packages.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with contract requirements and project timelines.
Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore.
Experience in Quantity Surveying for Plumbing & Sanitary (P&S) works in HDB and/or condominium projects is required.
Familiar with tendering, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
Able to interpret construction drawings and perform accurate quantity take-offs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet project deadlines.
